The 2019 IREM Global Summit will take place at The Hilton San Francisco Union Square where real estate managers from across the country and around the world will meet to advance the profession and move their careers forward.

This modern hotel is located in the heart of San Francisco, just steps away from historic streets, the Theater District, and oceanside attractions. Take a stroll across the Golden Gate Bridge, tour Alcatraz Island or catch a glimpse of lounging sea lions and frolicking dolphins at Fisherman’s Wharf. Enjoy the beautiful bay, world famous restaurants, and so much more.

Please note that due to high demand, the contracted group rate of $289 is no longer available. The hotel has made a limited number of upgraded accommodations available at the rates of $339 and $399 plus tax per night. Reservations can be made online or by calling the Hilton at 800-446-6677. Be sure to identify yourself as attending the IREM Global Summit in order to obtain the group rate.

We suggest that you make your guest room reservations immediately due to high demand. Space is limited and reservations are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. IREM does not guarantee guest room availability.

Alternate Hotel Accommodation

Availability at the San Francisco Hilton Union Square has become very limited. However, IREM has secured alternate accommodations for the 2019 IREM Global Summit. The San Francisco Marriott Union Square has a limited number of sleeping rooms at a nightly rate of $399. This location is 0.3 miles from the Summit headquarter hotel (Hilton San Francisco Union Square) and has been recently renovated.

To expedite your search on these sites, use Union Square as your “landmark” location which should yield several options. The Hilton is located in Union Square at 333 O’Farrell Street.

Ground Transportation

The Hilton San Francisco Union Square is located approximately 14 miles (a 35-minute drive) from San Francisco International Airport and about 20 miles from Metropolitan Oakland International Airport (a 40-minute drive).

Hotel Parking: Self-parking is $62.70 per night. Daily valet is $76.38 (with in/out privileges).

Public Transportation
San Francisco’s train system, known to locals as BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), allows for quick and easy travel all over the city. Access the online Trip Planner to help determine where and when trains depart and arrive.

The hotel is located just a short walk from the Powell Street exit.

Summit Attire

Business-casual attire is appropriate for all Summit activities and events.

Tuesday - jeans acceptable for the Opening Premier Party.

Wednesday - jeans acceptable with a $10 donation to the IREM Foundation via the online registration form; IREM wearables available for purchase onsite.

Thursday - black tie optional for the Inaugural Gala & REME Awards in the evening.

During the month of September, the outdoor temperature averages a low of 56°F and high of 71°F.

Walk, drive or bike across one of the most famous bridges in the world! Open since 1937, the Golden Gate Bridge boasts over 10 million visitors per year. If going under the bridge is more your style, you can book an hour-long or afternoon cruise of the bay.
